I had a blast, Brainwash Tagged a Van outside and stenciled it. To top it off he had hundreds of paint cans and spray paint downstairs and let everyone tag the whole basement. Was cool to see hundreds if not thousand of folks throughout the day painting. I haven't seen that many smiles and happy people in a long time.

He also gave the kid who was first in line an original worth 20+ thousand dollars.

Is MBW Robin Hood??!!
Those Madonna prints are 20k+ at the show?? Just wondering, but I would say far less.

they were 10k at the original opening.

PLENTY OF PICS FROM THE SHOW HERE http://mrbrainwash.proboards.com/index. ... thread=168

I spoke to Thierry about the Rene Gagnon prints and i also kicked it with Rene the day of the Brooklyn Street Art Silent Auction, i mentioned the Banksy reference and he said that Banksy had emailed him and they spoke about it, it was left at that, nothing else ws said to me, i spoek to Thiery about the Rene attacks and he said, " I think his work is great, its fun and i like it... " he said some other fudge but nothing towards Rene or even worth mentioning. Rene which is pronounced " ray-nee" is cool dude man, we hung out a bit, drank a bit and talked lot of fudge...

Hathaway's Boyfriend Ordered To Return Street Art

A New York contractor has threatened to file criminal charges against ANNE HATHAWAY's boyfriend ADAM SHULMAN unless the actor returns a street mural he walked off with at the weekend (08May10).

Shulman and an unidentified male friend were caught detaching the large graffiti piece, by street artist Mr. Brainwash, from a construction site barrier in Manhattan's trendy Meatpacking District.

The pair then carted the makeshift wooden canvas, which features a man bearing similarity to Alfred Hitchcock holding a Happy Mother's Day sign, off to a nearby apartment building - just in time for the holiday, which was celebrated in America on Sunday (09May10).

H&H Builders president Ken Hart, who is working on the site, considers the mural to be his property, and he has threatened to report Shulman to the police if the artwork is not returned.

Hart tells the New York Post, "If he brings me back the art, it's over. But if he doesn't, I'm going to the police to report it stolen!"

Spokespersons for Shulman and Hathaway had not returned requests for comment as WENN went to press.
