That would be a real shocker. I doubt it. If MBW went from super high quality screen prints to digital printing (giclee, archival pigment print whatever) without ever announcing it or disclosing it, that's big news and definitly shady. Were his other recent releases advertised as screen prints or is he just not mentionning it anymore?
