even if he ripped off a little something from each of them, wouldn't the resulting combination, enhanced by his own input, necessarily be completely different and new?

As we say in the radio biz: steal from me, you've stolen twice. At least.

Just got Lennon Panda print in the mail that MBW donated to the Montesssori art auction! Beautiful! Very, very heavy thick paint splatter. You can see the paint raised off the print- very thick in some areas. Almost still slightly wet in heavier areas.

Included was 4 lithographs- maxspray, chaplin, love is the answer, and liberty. Print is signed but not numbered. Has huge "Life is Wonderful 2010" on the back with thumbprint and a few pink splatters.

UNFORTUNATLY :hanging: After further inspection- the heavy ink splash began to pull from the paper- it must have stuck to the back of the liberty litho! MBW and his team being the awesome guys/gals that they are offered to replace for the auction so more pics/details to follow...

You cats are gonna love the print- it's sick!!!!!

Life is Wonderful!

Had a blast hanging with my boy Chris in NYC last night to check out what was going down at the Icons spot. No more Liberty or Max Spray lithos; more Chaplins and these new Einsteins. Lots and lots of different new postcards. I have the total at 48 different cards so far now. Hopefully new stuff every week or two like they said at some point. Chris is a great hype man and was pulling people into the show and making sure they left with free posters and cards. When i left he had one guy working out pricing with the gallery for pieces. He wanted the Kiss record piece...but it was $90,000. I suggested he go for that warhol/monroe chris took a pic of on the newspaper. Anyway good to get up again and hope we can meet up at some of the openings later in the month...i'm trying to hit Mark Ryden; Dolk/M-City; and Obey Posse so maybe we'll get up. And thanks for the Alife stickers...i like how they're shaped like word bubbles. I'm going to stick them on advertising posters around the city so its as is the models/celebrities are think/saying Alife. Hope that doesn't get you guys in any trouble, but seems like the best place for them. Anyway, if your in or around the city it's worth the ride in to see the show again...the pieces were switched up again like a week ago; with some nice new pieces. and enjoy the movie if and when you get to see it...it was really good and lives up to all the hype.
