my favorite from this year is probably Pursuit. I really like the movement and the colors:

My favorite "purchase" this year is a tie between Pursuit and Carrot Giver:

My wife got the workshop for me also with plane ticket, rental, and room. I literally choked up and got teary for a minute. I hinted it to her but never expected it since I hint stuff all the time. Jay is hands down my favorite artist and I've been collecting his stuff for a long time, have had a sub since '03. Super excited!

So my girlfriend is quite amazing. I found out she was getting me Jay's book by accidentally going on her amazon cart, so she turned it all around and escalated it to one of the best presents ever. Such a shock to open it and see this.

Did you get a hug you'd never forget in 2009 or something?

I actually have no idea what that's about! My guess is that Jay had the book signed beforehand and then signed it again once he did the doodle.

That is exactly what happened. That is similar to mine - two sigs with two different years, one for the book signing and one for the drawing. I like the added "remember ___?" on yours - nice touch.
Congrats!
