Knocking on wood, but haven't had any problems in general for my whole eBay career, which started in 2001. Worst one was the guy that framed a dface and then sent it back. That pissed me off. I left quite a few messages on their phone. Oh there was also the guy that claimed I sent him an empty tube for the og horkey LOTR pair. He had a whole media company in Florida. Then he kicked it some years back. He did not get any money back from me before he died though.

The buyer opens a dispute and says he opened the box and all that was inside was books. Took pics of the books and won the dispute.
Not related to the main subject, but since you brought KAWS up, I have to mention that he has an exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario right now. It is pretty nice.
yea his exhibits are always beautiful to go look at in person.
Till this day his Snoopy prints are probably some of the nicest prints I've ever seen on a wall. https://expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/218506
No one is listening to you. They are too busy typing an exam papers worth of arguments on a poster forum.

eBay will force the items to be removed in an artist complained. They don't like people selling fake stuff. I had something removed because eBay claimed it was not authentic. In a bit of irony, I bought it off eBay.

That counts as a brush with fame too. I called eBay and never found out how they determined it was not authentic....it was a bloody Lincoln Cent.ygolohcysp wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 4:47 pmI had a Jermaine Rogers aleppin sane removed by David Bowie once

this is the type of action against I've referenced against ebay - providing a marketplace that allows illegal activities, challenge probably lies in what is actual "illegal"- all the same in my opinion - selling stolen images

I linked this back at the beginning and it's pretty interesting because the devices themselves are not illegal. It's only illegal to use them in your car on the road. I doubt eBay pays anything hereGrateful69Phish wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 6:50 amthis is the type of action against I've referenced against ebay - providing a marketplace that allows illegal activities, challenge probably lies in what is actual "illegal"- all the same in my opinion - selling stolen images

seen a couple of idiots around town with this on their trucks. They also have giant trump flags on their trucks too. I'll try to get a pic one day.ygolohcysp wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 10:53 amI linked this back at the beginning and it's pretty interesting because the devices themselves are not illegal. Fwiw there's lots of other reasons to use a device like this other than to roll coal. There are some cars with wonky sensors not designed to function properly at altitude. Those people need a device like this. There's also the classic use case in your Honda to squeeze every drop of efficiency and power out of their amazing engines. Not to mention when you're on a racetrack, you're free to modify your car as you please, and everyone is using a device like this to do so.
Cops aren't pulling people over for rolling coal because... A wild guess... They have them on their trucks too. Along with a giant thin blue line flag covering the rear window and obscuring the gun rack.
