Looked serious to me. In addition to his other comments, and one in particular I saw earlier today linked in Fairey’s Liberte thread, which conveniently popped up. Lol.

^ The dude who hunted vampires?
Just so we are clear. MLK was a SOCIALIST!!! Pro-Union, Anti War, Pro Affirmative Action, Pro Wage equality, Anti Capitalist.
if we was killed by the powerful, it wasn't because of civil rights, it was because he threatened to unite workers against the real oppression of all poor people.

Education will be the catalyst for actual, meaningful change. Even though it seems to be crippled further daily in certain places, I still have hope that we'll see massive upheaval as the old guard gets booted out and pubic opinion shifts with the times. Revolutionary ideas and actions exponentially compound and I think we'll see things happen faster and faster once we hit the tipping point.
Tyre Nichols' murder by a group of cops on multiple cameras in Memphis has the potential to actually shake things up. They've all been fired and are being charged; I suspect, sadly, because they're all black. This is America. But it doesn't have to be

Serious question, are you a POC or biracial?
fantasticninja wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:37 amI've seen this picture posted for years online, and it always makes me laugh. And MLK's Niece said he was a Republican. Oh and don't forget Uncle Ben being erased! Yeah! Thanks Leftists you really beat racism! As Aunt Jemima owned that business and was the countries first black female millionaire. And never forget what Malcom X said:
“White liberals are those who have perfected the art of selling themselves to the black man as our ‘friend’ to get our sympathy, our allegiance and our minds. The white liberal attempts to use us politically against white conservatives, so that anything the black man does is never for his own good, never for his advancement, never for his own progress, he’s only a pawn in the hands of the white liberal.”

I watched a doc called Descendants on Netflix about the Cotilda, the last slave ship sailed to America. It revealed a different layer because of a post about the push and pull or racial progress and the backlash. While locally know, and definitely know to the descendants of Timothy Maeher in Mobile, the existence was denied for over 100 years because they thought they disposed of the ship by burning it after deboarding all of the captured slaves.
The Twitter post was a review of 5 or 6 major advancements for black people followed by the backlash received. The Clotilda was discovered and officially acknowledged in 2019. The backlash against CRT is directly tied to this event and the continued desire to suppress the truth about our history and what we have done to people. And if people are talking about CRT, they aren't talking about the moral failure of the US to treat people as equal citizens.
It's disgusting and I cannot wait for the pendulum to swing back and blast all these racist drymounts right in the face.

It's amazing the mental leaps people take to justify not doing what is certainly a very simple thing to do: change your mind. No one likes to be told they're wrong, but when your basic set of assumptions is called into question and you're presented with hard data, whether it be numeric or historical, how do you just ignore that? It's ignorance. Only a fool thinks they know it all already. I've been that fool for a long time! I'm still working on not being that fool every drymounting day! If a stubborn prick like me can do it the rest of you have no excuse.

he got pissed off, took his ball and went home like a crybaby, and didn't post in the +rump thread again after that
expectedly, he's still buying Obey with art referencing human rights and ecological disaster issues, because flip value increase and literally no other reason he can legibly state, even mocking David Bowie's cultural relevance as an LGBTQ icon as recently as a couple of weeks ago
these people are just drymounting stupid
That said, it's not surprising his and x's interest in art collecting, as it's legitimized money laundering worldwide, and fraud and money laundering are literal republican love languages
