Should get some little stickers with dump on them pointing a finger at the postage total: I did that!
USPS is no longer an option to ship posters.

haha too hard on the USPS. Only have had issues with them past few weeks but thats like holiday tradition at this point. It is funny though watching them send like a pin to a hawaii distribution center first when all it had to do was go from Brooklyn to Jersey.

USPS all day.
USPS > UPS > FEDEX
USPS > UPS > FEDEX

I love USPS. When problems have come up they can sometimes be long and drawn out but they do always seem to resolve in my favor. I had a doozie recently with an employee at a Nashville post office hanging up on me repeatedly and ultimately telling me she was going to report me to the postal inspector if i called again. Spoiler alert: i called again. Just do your drymounting job, sorry it's me that has to inform you of how to do it. A couple of fun ones from this interaction while i'm thinking about it: "I didn't see any damage" OH YOU DIDN"T NOTICE THE CRUSHED TUBE OR THE CLEARLY CREASED SCREENPRINT???! "you should have used bubble wrap" BUBBLE WRAP? WHERE???? lol

reminds me of the time when I received a poster wrapped around the outside of a tube

My mail person has the same problem! Fortunately anything I buy print wise goes to my ups store box. It's usually a package of socks or something equally as innocuous that ends up in one of my neighbors boxes at the corner. 50/50 I get it back. Who keeps someone else's incorrectly delivered baby socks FFS
It should be apparent to anyone reading these posts that we don’t have shared experiences. USPS has been terrific for me. It is UPS that I avoid at all costs. And FedEx is wonderful. Expensive, but wonderful.
Never had a problem myself. ( I miss the politics/trump thread where people could talk about that shite there cause its just a bummer to hear in a place i come to escape that bs ) yea usps handles most all my eBay and poster mail and I'm not in a position to complain.

I'm not saying I do this, but it sounds like they're trying to stop the tube from rolling off the conveyor beltGrateful69Phish wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 9:43 amanybody see the utility in people shipping tubes with a tongue depressor rubber banded to the tube?
