Need some newbie help.

They sent the NFT, didn’t show in wallet, realized I needed to add Palm network, added Palm, still not there. What am I missing? Patience only?
The Metamask wallet won't show the NFT. You can view your NFT here using the metamask extension: https://currency.nft.heni.com/owners/me

If you just want to confirm that your NFT was sent to the right address, you can look at the blockchain history (I can help with that if you need it)
Just wanted to make sure it was there
Your Tender, #9881:
https://explorer.palm.io/tokens/0xaadc2 ... -transfers

Was transferred to address 0xE20cF16052168F6578de7323462b5c6F6069d9a6.

Go into your metamask app or whatever and it'll show you your address. If it starts E20c and ends d9a6 it's probably the right one.

Apparently something is up with Hirst NFTs…

Transferring to ETH chain then selling on OS, the seller ends up keeping it after selling it as well. 2 for 1. Be careful

“ HIrst project is off-the-rails drymounted.

People can't transfer to Ethereum mainchain, and now this...

Original mint and allocation of token 468 to original owner:
https://explorer.palm.io/tokens/0xaadc2 ... -transfers

Owner transfers 468 to EThereum mainchain:
https://explorer.palm.io/address/0x7361 ... -transfers

Owner sells 468 on OS:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x2039abb2d9751 ... c7f9de96da

Owner still has 468 on Palm:
https://explorer.palm.io/tx/0x99b2ecb6e ... -transfers#”

Like I said it is so complicated and technical, only millennial nerds get it, which is going to be its downfall

My nieces and nephews (8-13) play Roblox. I don't understand Roblox at all. I dont think I know anyone around me my age that understands it either. If I sat down and tried to learn it I could but I just don't want to and always walk away. Roblox is worth over $30 billion and not going anywhere.

Mondo sold thousands of digital posters at $65. Funko just launched their program. Between all of us, I know for a fact that basically major studio is getting involved in one way or another because we tried and they've told us. It's why you aren't seeing many do it. Most are trying to build their own marketplace.

Shopify will have their own thing as well eventually where it's easy for everyone to use. We know this because we had that call too and they just announced that Sweet Collaboration with the Bulls.

They're all going to make it as easy as possible for anyone to do this.

The above with the Hirst is open for anyone to understand. You can track everything. I don't understand it too much either but its there if you wanted to learn. I don't know what the aftermath was because I'm not following anything with it but it showed that that specific NFT was still being in the sellers wallet on Palm (Hirst platform) after selling on Opensea (main marketplace).

Even with Joe, one of the most trusted names in the biz, interested in and backing NFTs, you still have these folks who resist, revile and ridicule. You’re all being given a chance to get in at what is still, relatively speaking, the ground floor on this fudge. It’s not going ANYWHERE and with just a little bit of research and seed money, you can be a part of it. It just paid for my daughter’s sophomore and junior years of college! fudge is real.

Or, ya know, keep saying luls and huh and that this is a fad. It’s easy to remain cynical about it but it’s more fun to actually get involved. May seem daunting at first but it’s just like anything else - the more time you put into it the more it will give back to you. Not just financially but just as something cool and amazing that is happening in the art world. A lot of it is definitely pure commodification but there is a ton of actual great art being made.

So far the average is around 7-8k. Not bad.

Damien Hirst laid off 63 people last autumn while claiming £15m in government Covid-19 loans

Full article is worth a read as it's an an interesting behind the scenes look in into his business over the last few years. Reminder that much of the art world is first and foremost a business.
