WTF is Crypto Art?
Nice score!! In hindsight I wish I would have put in for 2.
I would love to see how both markets go. Now I just have to make a decision in 366 days.
I will most likely go for the physical, as I also never thought I would own an "original" Hirst.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger and here is my draw, great title

mmmm Beer
Feeling pretty lucky to have been chosen. Loads of texture, overlap and drips. It seems like a rarity because it has two microdots on the back. Title cracks me up too. I'm definitely getting the original when I have a chance.

We might want to start posting our editions in the actual posting itself.

Been out of the loop for months and too lazy to read through everything, but seems like a hell of an opp for a Hirst!
Luls. Been buying too much IRL art I ain't got no time to be fuxing with virtual art (yet). Obvs would have opted for the real deal if I'd been on dis. Still seems a bit ridic to put out 10k "originals" into the world at once.

Hirst kept 1000, so it's really more like a meager 9,000 that will be made available. #diamondhands
Edit: but in all seriousness, I don't think these will skyrocket in value, but I also don't think they'll plummet. $2k is a reasonable floor, and there were over 30k applicants. I'm sure many of them would be willing to pick one up for at least that much.
Art Blocks. Trust me.
It doesn't really because not all are going to keep 1. You would be surprised but I think many will keep the NFT and not claim the original. Not all artists are Hirst but from what I hear when there is some utility involved a large portion isn't claimed because people don't want to give their info. Just rather have the NFT.This was and is still my worry with dropping $2k. There are 10,000 of these in the wild kinda kills the market
Also, it all depends on the project. Bored Ape Club has 10,000 floor is around $14,000. Pickles has 10,000 and it goes for $20. Cryptopunks $50,000 Supducks $100. Its just about finding the right project to back. I was really surprised by how many ppl went for Hirst. You saw it more after when people started winning. I saw it in FB print groups and also with the NFT community. Pretty cool to watch
