the next phase of redeemed prints for me would be to be able to redeem using a credit card and just be charged $5 (or even maybe free) for gas or whatever the price. it goes into a controlled wallet. and anyone that wants to move it to a metamask wallet could.
...like a web shop where you don't need crypto?
the point of the blockchain is a distributed shared db. does a web shop offer that?
Literally every financial system has been doing this since the 2000s. Banks, credit cards, e-commerce stores, etc. It's why you don't hear about hacks even when a payment network is offline.
Huh? I can’t see if a bank is drymounting around? What are you talking about?

Basically all of these crypto fallouts, we can all see when and where the money is being transferred to and from.

For example, this FTX hacker, in real time, your watching him dump ETH and transfer it around.

The distributed database in on the backend, which is what papaver mentioned.

Being able to see a wallet address only goes so far when 1) you don't know the person who controls the wallet, 2) someone has multiple wallets, and 3) someone uses a mixing site like Tornado Cash to break the address tracking.

The exchange "crypto fallouts" can also be called "ponzi schemes" since that is what they are by definition.

um... no they haven't. all finance networks are private. i should know having worked on both the ach and swift payment systems. ach is archaic and still runs on 40yo mainframes spitting out text files with limited length fields. swift is a littler newer but has its own issues.

have you actually worked at a bank on fintech?

the eth blockchain is a PUBLIC database that anyone can access and use. and contains shared set of information that can be leveraged by anyone that chooses with a high degree of trust.

and yes there are MANY crimes related to the financial systems. you just don't hear about it because it isn't front and center like the crypto space. maybe do some research first.

Is it for a crypto swap or an NFT transaction?
