That BAYC mess should be a big test to the non-fungible portion of NFT.
The visual portion of the image may be the same, but a copy would likely have non visual data changes, so at that point is it the “same” image?

I need more. Nothing seems to satisfy. I don't want it. I just need it. To feel, to breathe, to know I'm alive. - MJK

I know there earlier posts in here about it but coming from someone who hates metaverse stuff and who found every attempt at it to be a subpar minecraft, the Otherside demo was awesome.

holy drymount... 4,616 currency burned so far w/ only 10h left. i guessed 2777... hah.
Yeah the number surprised me too. I think more people than expected are nervous about the volatile nature of crypto, a few just can’t stand the idea of burning an actual piece of art.
I was 100% NFT but have questioned this decision in the last 24 hrs….. do I stay the course?????

Well I’m locked into NFT forever now which I was always going to do. Recently whenever I looked at it I got nostalgic for the print.
Interestingly Hirst kept his 1000 tokens as NFT and will burn all of the physicals. Which will create an epic event.

if i had two i would have done one of each. personally my reason to burn was i wanted a hirst piece that was hand made rather than manufactured. it is so tiny in person, haha. but in the end glad a burned. some stuff does make it to the wall... also they created a custom frame for it for anyone that burned.
