technically 11 with 1 freebie. The more people don't know how it works, the better imho. They will see 200k sold and decide to pass. Works for me.

He's made more than Beeple on a droplet that gets bigger the more you spend and add to it.

Pak made over 27 million dollars in 3 minutes so far.
It's mind boggling to think about how much money they're going to make off this release! They've already sold almost $90mil worth in 4hrs. And then the commissions on the secondary sales are going to be nuts. Still trying to decide if I want to buy in or not. I have no idea what the hell the secondary market is going to be like. Definitely going to be interesting to watch either way.

There is going to be a critical point where open editions crash the market even if the gamification is built into them, and it could be this one. Combine (n+1) to make a new mass will eventually cause the (1) mass to become "scarcer" by design. I think when something like this becomes 10x more speculative than the previous Cube release, you are getting into a very dangerous territory. This seems like a very dangerous (from the consumer point) cash grab now that NFT has become word of the year.

^ Either that or
This is the dumbest thing I read today and I did read that dude’s trip in Champion of Justice thread in the morning.

Edit: but way to clear $90 mil and a lot more, for sure. I am actually jealous, lol.

I don't feel this will play out like cubes. I think the more mass you have in one place the better.

If I was a whale I wouldn't have bothered buying on mint. I would use the money to accumulate on the secondary market to bring down the number of tokens.

I feel like it's all leading to something big.

pak is an example of the perfect nft artist.

Not saying you have to like their work or any of that but they built their way up through growing a community and just keeping them engaged all the time (even if it doesn't make sense to 95% of the community). There is never a moment where it stops.

I really don’t know anyone else that compares. For the ones I follow, Ghxst is good and would maybe say Beeple because always new pieces but at that level, don’t think you can beat Pak on engagement.

Think Lost Poets was $40 mil. This should break $100 mil by closing. Its insaneee

I picked up one for the hell of it to see where it goes. At the time Cubes came out, I think we also all thought that was a lot too.
