Anyone up to date on this?
Invader's instagram shows a couple of "Crypto Punks" mosaic pieces he has made and put up as new pieces.
Did he yoink them off their URL and turn them in to IRL artworks?
insta . invaderwashere
The 1st one has a vid that seems to be just that.
Thoughts?
Other than that, not seeing half as many of the "celebs", term used loosely to describle Fallon/Hilton/Damon et al flying their freak flags -those hexagonal icons that were floating about on Twitter etc. - have they received their pay-out and ...jumped ship (or yacht, if you prefer)?

It's interesting that this thread just sort of died at the end of summer after being on fire for so long. Im definitely not encountering zomg NFTs plastered across all forms of media now either.
What happened? Did the market sort of flame out? How has the recent crypto developments, bitcoin plunging, FTX, affected the NFT market? Are people sitting on jpegs they paid way more for than they're valued now?
It seems like the popularity stayed contained to the people that were already involved in crypto in some form and never fully caught on in the mainstream despite being pumped pretty hard

So what happened to the apes? Same thing that happened to the game stop and amc apes? Did they leave for the moon?
Remember someone paid $69M for Beeple?
Remember when pack cleared tens (hundreds? I don’t remember) of millions on sale of nothing?
Good times.

If the FTX thing didn't happen, I really feel ETH would have been over $2k after the last Inflation report (was around $1,600). But it did happen and the ripple effect is going to keep going and probably be terrible.GoBluePanic wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 8:13 pmIt's interesting that this thread just sort of died at the end of summer after being on fire for so long. I definitely changed my viewpoint on a lot of this being on the selling side of the market since last September. I do still enjoy generative art and I do enjoy making prints of it (like what we did with Roamcouch). I like the idea that someone can have a 1/1 print. Something I feel a lot of print buyers enjoy so combining the two is fun to me.
Yea the Ape thing sucks but I can only speak for myself and say I'm still holding a few and its been a ride.So what happened to the apes? Same thing that happened to the game stop and amc apes? Did they leave for the moon?
