Yea personally feel the same. Did do a couple though for artists we worked with and came out nice. I really like the avatar stuff like Bored Ape and PunksCodeblue wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 4:31 pmOnly one I kinda like is Parasola, and I already have the woodcut print so I don't feel compelled to get it or any of the others. I do find it weird that he made the time limited ones look like they're on a backing for a pin or some fudge. I also find art that was created specifically as a digital piece far more compelling than analog pieces that are "converted" to digital so they can become an NFT.
WTF is Crypto Art?
Idk if anyone here is into this stuff but since ETH has been hitting around the $4k mark with the high gas fees/price, most NFT markets built around it haven't had much volume at all. Superrare for instance sold 0 pieces today. https://dappradar.com/rankings/category/marketplaces

Reselling is still happening. Opensea had 1.5 mil in volume just less transactions. Just a lot of different factors going on. The big debate seems to be do you think of charging your piece with an ETH mindset or FIAT.
Artists who have been charging 1 ETH this entire time, do they now lower their price to lets say .5 ETH because yea they were selling at $2k but now its $4k and no ones buying. It's a tough call especially if you're trying to cater to that community.
Then throw in the high gas prices which is scaring new and old artists not to produce anything and wait. It was about to cost me almost $200 to swap a $125 in coins the other day. Something crazy like that.

straight up honesty...I wouldn't even know what to do.
You have all these artists for the past 6-8 months building a rep with a veryy close NFT community. If you walk back your price in terms of ETH, they might see it as you messing with your own market. However, then you also might lose the chance for some new fan to come in and buy ETH to purchase something from you due to costs which risks you building up yourself.
Hopefully 2.0 does come mid summer and helps because I think ETH will continue going up.
how does one think in an ETH mindset? ETH was $100 jan 2020... how can anyone think in a security that volatile? what does that even mean.
Thats just the mentality its built on. There is also a debate if sites should even have Fiat in parenthesis next to it.
Just a quick search if you're curious https://twitter.com/AxieKing/status/139 ... 09761?s=20 A lot of tweets like this over the past few weeks.

Last I heard paris hilton, pak, and blau all released a sex tape in the discord chat and if you wait an extra 7 hours there will be a 15 minute window that you can burn your cube for a chance at having the opportunity to enter the lottery for a beeple 1/1 version that comes with a 5 second nft of 50 acres of rainforest being decimated.
