If anyone could sell 3,650 prints of Jack and Jill its definitely Tyler.

True story, with the success of one of Tyler's releases, a license price was almost boosted for all future releases by a large amount. I had to basically be like come on...

Thought this was amusing enough to post. Folks may not interact here but they sure do care about the precious price charts.

Art is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Obviously this person hasn't done much with actual auction houses. Estimates exist for a reason and aren't always realized.

Cant trust EB prices!

They are more than welcome to make their own EB site. Then realize, dam, we have no historical data and cant trust EB.

Everything starts fresh! Problem solved. Justice for P Mann!

I don't have a good melt but I also don't want to lose this thread.

Doing the lord's work. Have there been no worthy meltz lately?

P.S. I think "art discussion" threads are immune from the 1 year purge, no?

If you go to the second page of “Art Related”, the oldest thread there is from May 2020.

In the “Art Discussion”, the oldest threads are from December 1969, lol. Sure is an old forum. The working ones are from April 2004 though.

Looks like in 1969, someone was looking for Alex Monopoly prints and Koala related posters. They also knew about Pangeaseed back in the day, it appears.

A few months ago I made a general statement, not even telling anyone in particular, that a poster stored in a tube for a long period of time is not considered mint.
You would not believe the backlash. It was drymounting nuclear. Someone should dig that up. It will blow you away people lost their minds. It was my poster alter ego Facebook dude Hannibal Smith in concert poster collectors. Well worth the read. Yeah… too much work… but it really was insane.
I thought I was going to get a pipe bomb in the mail.
