Strangely enough, I only bought 5 pieces this year. I've slowed down a ton.
This is a piece of dutch art nouveau I picked up on a trip to Amsterdam.
I buy a piece from David B Smith every year during Art Basel Miami, this is a piece by Adam Milner, called Nancy.
I dont own any original work by Shep, and honestly I am not the hugest fan of most of Sheps work because the newer subject matter doesn't do much for me. This piece I loved, it was one of 2 originals left available during his retrospective during Art Basel Miami. So I jumped.
I picked this sculpture up by Kwest during Art Basel, saw this in a video of a friends IG and loved it. He came up and installed it. These are awesome to live with, I highly recommend them, they are beautiful.
I missed these when they were original shows at Castor Gallery, sounds like a lot of problems with LaLa getting them back. Still waiting on shipping. Really happy to grab these as I always kicked myself for not grabbing one of her woven pieces during that time. How often do you get a second bite?

I'd have gotten a better pic of that last one but it's hanging in my 3-year-old's room and he's sleeping so...
