He's now asking for payment via Venmo or Cashapp only. How hard is it to shut down his profile before some noob gets ripped off?
How hard is it for them to create a new username, or perhaps even use an existing alt, and repeat the process? At least this way anyone with the sense to search for the username in the forum can easily find a record of their infractions.

I know it isn't a perfect solution but I don't think there is a perfect solution, other than people insisting to use a payment method that offers them buyer protection.

The guy has a wanted list...why not offer him a great deal on a print while accepting only venmo or cashapp. The rest kind of takes care of itself.

Yeah, totally fair. Rather the enemy we know over the alternative.

This was basically the convo the admins were having. We don't want people to think we're not listening here - we are, it's just not always the easiest failsafe solutions for these kinds of matters (and Kramerica basically hit the nail on the head for the discussion). At the very least, these requests will be made by a noob account, which hopefully will also be a red flag for people.

He tried to sell me a GDP Rat poster for 400. Said he'd have a relative ship it as he was currently traveling
"I’m actually on the road for a family vacation. I can get a family member to send it out tomorrow."

Asked for photos and he went silent. When I asked why he was offering at lower than "market value:
"Yes just trying to make it a good deal."
So..on a family vacation BUT will has family member ship a SHRN Banksy giveaway poster from overseas a day after they were distributed...

Same guy just offer me the print in my iso, ask for Venmo or cash app. The deal too good to be true so I paid immediately through Venmo....... just kidding.

Could we pin a thread of users to not deal with to the top of each major discussion board or something like that? So you flat out can't miss it...?

Same here. Guys so spin he doesn’t even remember who he ripped off

Remember guys, it’s been said a lot, but *always* use PayPal goods and services and be sure to describe the transaction in the notes to help with any claim should you need to make one

This dude hit me up moments after I added a print to my ISO list. Asked for cost via Venmo or cash app. Never bothered to respond to him.

I'm glad I can still count on you to give me fudge after I've been away from EB for like a year. <3
