For a while I thought the MAG chop was Maggiori’s — like he called himself Mag or something. Then I realized it was the gallery and felt like an idiot.

Price list:

Missing Horse canvas is limited to 500, and is being sold tomorrow at 7am, not on Sunday like the rest.

What I want to know is -- why the heck is Thunderhead Riders reg so much more then Big Sky Majesty reg despite being the same size? The size is probably a typo.

I think I am getting Riders, Lies, Majesty, and one of the other two... the XLs are too.... well, big. I like the regular sizes. The pricing is wack for those canvas though... are they usually that expensive? I feel the quality wouldnt be as nice as the paper giclees.

Canvas can be surprisingly good for photos anyway. It would also have a similar impression that a painting would have with no glare from glass, so it's probably a little closer to the real painting, and it comes ready to hang if you get the stretched canvas version. So there would be no framing costs. I purchased Missing Horse this morning, so I'm curious to see how it looks.

Reached out to MM Studio. They were super quick - this was their official response:
Mark says he never prices his paintings the same regarding sizes. It varies each time depending on year it was made and the complexities in which he made his work. He also likes to give a range of prices for his clientele.

Seems reasonable if referencing a painting/OG. This is a print though.

Also they updated the FAQ on the sale page:
8. Why Are There Some Pieces That Are Relatively The Same Size But A Price Difference?

Mark Does Not Charge By The Square Inch Of His Art Work But The Year It Was Made, The Rarity Of The Piece And The Style And Technicality It Took To Paint The Original. Not All Images Are Created Equal. ;)

But also...
3. What Is The Costs Of The Prints

Costs Will Be Determined Once The Sizes Are Figured Out.
:D
