He said it's not like he's never going to paint Western again, just that he wants to explore other things afterwards. Whether that ends up being completely the case, who knows -- but no misinterpretation behind the meaning of his words.Gustie13 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 8:07 pmNo, he didn’t say that. He said he probably wasn’t doing a summer print release and someone misinterpreted.Bluecow wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 6:47 pm
It does speak to the demand of his art though. Demand and interest is high, which means he could probably command higher print prices if he wanted. Did he say he was about done making western paintings last year? I’ll be very interested to see what he does this year for prints or otherwise.
I’ve confirmed with Mark that he plans to continue painting the American West for many years to come.
About the closest he came to saying this would be a “bookend” on his Western art is that he’s not opposed to painting other places (mentioned Italy) at some point.
Mark Maggiori
Someone asked Mark on IG if he was shifting away from Western art. Here was his reply:
I will probably paint other things but my passion for the West is too strong I will keep doing it I think. There is a lot I want to paint still. It’s so exciting.

Really like some of the offerings in the upcoming release. Just may have to pull the trigger on my first Maggiori.
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
