whilst they get talented artists the printing quality leaves much to be desired. krabz the thing and fitzgerald drive were particularly awful as well.schmoff wrote:really?
not to mention the price tag - which is especially high for unlicensed/illegal artwork (imo).
the printing on the ruiz and mann are top notch, you need to remember they are converting paintings to screenprints, it has it limitations, these prints are like 20 screens so the price tag goes up
The star wars print looks...not good. Poor likenesses and awkward poses ruin what otherwise could have been a cool vintage style print. Plus the printing looks terrible.

And huge edition runs.
Is it really a commission if you have so many extras/unsold copies that you can offer them on "sale" at a reduced price on a BigCartel Shop?
Starts to seem more like funding inventory for someone else's business at a certain point...

Burgos Ghost in the shell was one of the worst print jobs i have ever seen.
From another private commission page, I received my Lebowski a few weeks ago. It was a long haul, but print is very cool. No complaints on my end(save the long turnaround).SPAC04 wrote:i hear The big lebowskis from 6 six months ago still haven't shipped either

nice, i was just commenting because i got a buddy in that one and he was telling me about a botched print job and reprinting costs etc. the image is great though and im glad those actually made it into people collections as opposed to remaining in commission printing queue limbo forever.jpicken wrote:From another private commission page, I received my Lebowski a few weeks ago. Time will tell with this one. I am optimistic.
