I'm tempted, but the shipping charge to the US seems a little steep (almost $50)- or is that about right these days?

That's a normal shipping charge from France. Also a fair price for the piece considering print size and edition size.

Okay good to know- that was really the only thing that was making me hesitant as it's a great, fairly priced piece and I'm honestly surprised it hasn't sold out yet...
