We buy and display prints out of love for the art work, movies, bands, etc. But going outside of that, I would be interested to hear opinions as to current artists, which will be the top 5 most collectible in 50+ years? And which 1 print of each artist would you believe would be considered their most collectible? I suppose collectability would mean desire for the work, value, and respect.
There is much to consider; the artist's current notoriety / up and comers, the art work itself, subject matter, mediums, and edition size.
Who do you think will be the top 5 collectible print artists in 50+ years and their main piece?

This hobby starts and ends with Timmy Doyle. He'll be the first to tell you that you don't collect him... he collects you.
