Ridiculing prices for fudge is different than ridiculing someone for opening a business. If you weren't blindly in love with the artist, you'd see that difference.

Whoa now... start your backpedal sir, don't think you launched a successful company today; so what if Horkey fans are into this, horkey has a new lady and that lady just so happens to make candles and perfume and jewelry. So what if he supports her, if anything be happy that he made a logo for her company, be happy for aaron; artists are people too and the attitude of insulting another gets you no where, we joke around here; today I was roasted all day long, but this is different you are just being straight up hateful. Quit while you're ahead people obviously like the products and will continue to buy them maybe for the art or maybe for the quality of the product or maybe both and the sooner you can come to terms with that the sooner you'll realize that sometimes it's not about how much something costs but what it is worth to someone else, people love Aaron's art, people love his wife's jewelry; they are equally successful on their own and Aaron collaborating with her is attracting new fans; so what if someone spent 40 dollars on a candle for the horkey art on it, I am gonna drop 500 around the holidays to get myself the there will be blood print, you can leave this thread, go hate on someone who deserves it.

I get tired of the hype train too but it looks like she just did what any small business would do. Dip your toe in and test the waters to see what's popular and what doesn't work, otherwise you have the potential for a glut of shelf turds and you're sunk.
Limited capital means limited initial stock. Stuff sells out, use profits to replenish stocks. Start small and work your way up. On that Sim City tip.

Jesus some people take this hobby way too seriously. Good on her for the sale and opening a business but someone can't even say something about $38 candle? This place has lost it.

I mean it's no worse than the 200 I dropped today for Whalen jungle book and stout explosions in the sky; there is taking this hobby seriously and then just having a list of ISO's you'll never get.bulkhead72 wrote:$500 on a print?! Definitely don't fault anyone for questioning the price of a candle. Trust me there are way more expensive candles out there.
I took umbrage with the idea that it was all in service of the hype train. And other comments.
But hey I momentarily forgot where I was so whatevs. I'm sure we will find something else to complain about soon.

I think that's what Earl was getting at. Not that she used Aaron to sell things, but that the things that did sell, (mostly to cats on EB), sold because of Aaron. I think it was more of a comment that people here will be anything that has Aaron attached to it rather than buying Jess's stuff for it being herspartpat wrote:She wouldn't of sold fudge w out his art on there at least not to you goons.
