I have never done Emek's wishlist before and my turn has come. I understand that the wishlist prices are market price, that's fine. I thought that the price quoted for 1 of the prints seemed a slightly optimistic view of the market. Does Emek tend to doodle a little more on wishlist prints? I know I've seen some that were ridiculous but I don't know if they were wishlist. Bryndavies Phish 95 comes to mind

many of those Phish 95's have extensive doodling. I those are an anomaly and the pricing has more to do with how many Emek has left in his archive.

Depends on how thick an envelope you stuff into your email.

I mean...it was a couple of weeks before they got back to me. That was a few years ago though.

He responded to my recent wishlist request in under 2 months. Not sure how long exactly, but it was probably about 4-6 weeks. Very fast.

Definitely do it if it was on your wish list. Price might be high but it's what he has available and great people to work with.

I think I asked for a doodle or two and he was more than willing.

Wouldn't you rather pay the premium to the artist than a random on here or ebay? Emek is always good about throwing in hand bills and stuff as well. If it was a print I wanted I wouldn't hesitate

My wishlist came at a terrible time and I couldn't buy anything, but I thought one of my prices was very optimistic. When I resubmit in a couple months I probably will not add that one again.

If you are going to ask for something it would be best to stick to post 2002 prints... He has that stuff.
I have found that Emek's down-the-road prices are still less than the going rate.
He takes care of everyone in time... I don't know how he deals with all of us crazies, but he does it well.

You might be surprised. I got what many would consider one of his classic posters from him for significantly less than most recent aftermarket prices.
