Ted kinsman was my 7th and 8th grade science teacher.
He is a wiz! He owns and operates sciencephotgraphy.com which had some amazing macro, x Ray, and heat sensitive pictures.
His latest and greatest is a printer that does halftone looking images- with drips of coffee!
Check it out: (if someone wants to load one of the pix- I'm on my phone)

Thats awesome. Im a big fan of when an interesting process creates great artwork. does he have any pictures of the completed pieces (when dry)? Or does he use some sort of resin to keep the coffee drops spherical?

It said it takes a full 24 hours to dry, and that the paper you use will greatly affect the final image.
Curious what paper works the best.
I emailed Ted just to say cool article- but maybe I'll ask him if I can go give it a try:)

Some of the dried products look very much like a Chuck Close. I have a few photos that I'd love to run through this printing process.
