Tesla Motors, SolarCity, and SpaceX—a few of his highest-profile projects—have relied heavily on government subsidies. According to a 2015 article in the Los Angeles Times, these three companies "together have benefited from an estimated $4.9 billion in government support."Apr 28, 2016. Musk=welfare queen
Oh, I get it. You don't actually have any kind of coherent point to make. Here I thought you were talking about poor coal miners. Now you have switched, completely unsolicited, to trying to argue about solar energy, while making no actual arguments about anything and merely pointing out that the government subsidizes new, emergent technology that will do nothing but increase the energy indelendence of the USA.
Good talk.
Good talk.
When I'm done ranting about elite power that rules the planet under a totalitarian government that uses the media to keep people stupid, my throat gets parched. That's why I drink Orange Drink. - BH

trying? im only one who provided facts instead of empty feelins for musky, solar is a farce, u cant compete with china, they make panels for pennies meanwhile we sit on mountains of coal, go back to ur bubble and cruisin in ur tesla that runs on coal
ethnosax wrote:Anyway, what parks are you all looking forward to in the series? We'll be visiting Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Sand Dunes this summer, so I'm eager to see the print for Bryce. I'll probably choose Grand Canyon and Sand Dunes for my (eventual) wall frame-up. I like the Sand Dunes print both for the interesting color and composition, and just for the unusual look of the landscape at the park itself.
Who would be your dream artist/park pairings for this series?

I'd say keep danger, McCarthy and JC going. ^^^^
Wouldn't mind more classic old school imagery from the artist who did crater lake. Who's good at trees and could tackle Sequoia or Redwoods?

I'd like to see Erica Williams get a shot at one of these (not the trees, but something with animals). Her style would fit in, but also be something slightly different.bryndavies wrote:I'd say keep danger, McCarthy and JC going. ^^^^

I'd love to see another Danthony. I thought Crater Lake had the feel of a 1950s classic travel poster, and I'm a sucker for that. Of a similar nature, would like to see Durieux take a stab st something.
I'd love to see Turnham do another, as he's just a personal favorite.
But away from that, would be more interested in seeing new faces emerge.

A Deriux would be cool. His style would work nicely I'd think.

I've been anxiously awaiting Rainier and Glacier. Was really looking forward to yosemite but it was a letdown for me personally as a print

I'm waiting on Sequoia and Joshua Tree, for sentimental reasons.
Favorite prints so far are Wrangell-St. Elias, Denali, and Zion, but I haven't gotten around to picking any up yet.
