Oh, I get it. You don't actually have any kind of coherent point to make. Here I thought you were talking about poor coal miners. Now you have switched, completely unsolicited, to trying to argue about solar energy, while making no actual arguments about anything and merely pointing out that the government subsidizes new, emergent technology that will do nothing but increase the energy indelendence of the USA.

Anyway, what parks are you all looking forward to in the series? We'll be visiting Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Sand Dunes this summer, so I'm eager to see the print for Bryce. I'll probably choose Grand Canyon and Sand Dunes for my (eventual) wall frame-up. I like the Sand Dunes print both for the interesting color and composition, and just for the unusual look of the landscape at the park itself.

Who would be your dream artist/park pairings for this series?

Wouldn't mind more classic old school imagery from the artist who did crater lake. Who's good at trees and could tackle Sequoia or Redwoods?

I'd like to see Erica Williams get a shot at one of these (not the trees, but something with animals). Her style would fit in, but also be something slightly different.

I'd love to see another Danthony. I thought Crater Lake had the feel of a 1950s classic travel poster, and I'm a sucker for that. Of a similar nature, would like to see Durieux take a stab st something.

I'd love to see Turnham do another, as he's just a personal favorite.

But away from that, would be more interested in seeing new faces emerge.

I was going to suggest Durieux, too--but his name has gotten a little awkward to mention lately (subscription delays, staircases, etc.). But yes, he's an ideal artist for this series.

Favorite prints so far are Wrangell-St. Elias, Denali, and Zion, but I haven't gotten around to picking any up yet.
