Forgive me. Waiting on a late arrival. The USPS is letting me down.

Love this thread and seeing everyone's top picks. You all got some great stuff! Here are my top 5 pick ups this year
1) "Storm Bringer II" Randy Ortiz OG
I love Randy's work and had spent last year tracking down all of the major print ISO's. I have pretty much everything in print form and wanted to start
buying Randy's original art this year. The year kicked off with this original painting that my girlfriend got me for my birthday.

2) "When You Study Evil, Evil Studies You" Randy Ortiz OG
Very first thing I purchased at Mondocon. I had seen the images on instagram and just had to own this piece. Visiting Austin for the first time,
attending a convention for the first time, and meeting Randy (and all the other great artists there) in person made made this an experience I will never forget.

3) "Bramble and the Rose" Randy Ortiz OG
[Picture not mine] My first gallery purchase! Randy had this piece in a pop up gallery curated by Chris Jalufka at Evil Tender in San Francisco. Chris was super chill and really enjoyed talking to him.

4) Halloween 15 Edmiston - Regular
Halloween is a movie that I grew up watching a lot as a young child and I was obsessed with the movie. So much so that I tried to make movies in the same vein (My parents let me walk around in a Halloween mask wielding a massive kitchen knife! They even helped film and act in them!). Getting to see this on the big screen at Mondocon was such a joy and the poster is killer.

5) Faith No More San Francisco I 15 Zoltron - 1st
Faith No More is a band that I was constantly listening to during High School and helped me get through it. Too bad it was around the time they split up. It had been on my bucket list to see them live and had missed the first time they did a reunion tour. When they toured again this year, this was a must see show.

"Storm Bringer II" is the bee's knees.
Gob by Jamie Hewlett. I really love Jamie Hewlett and was happy to pick this pretty old print up for a decent price. Effortlessly fun and vibrant, his work always brings me joy.

Sunset by Dran. The whole show made me smile and I was pleased when they chose this piece for a print. The hand spraying gives it bags of personality. It's going to the framer this month if I can find a spare moment.

Chum Chart by Anthony Petrie. I'm a Jaws nut and adored this when I first saw it. I had to be patient as the aftermarket went a bit nuts, but managed to grab one for a reasonable price. Excellent concept and great execution, I think it's a really clever bit of work.

Under the Skin by Akiko Stehrenberger. Akiko is a terrific artist (I thought the one sheet poster for 'Funny Games' was a photo for a long time) and it's a shame this concept was not used in the theatrical campaign as it's beautiful. Luckily, she created a very small print run. It's a 40 x 30" giclee and the colours are much richer than my poor photo shows.

Meadow by Pejac. An artist I admire and this print is a striking image in a bold size. Looking forward to seeing more from him next year.
