D*Face started his mural today in Cincinnati. Cool ass dude who was super generous with his time and the mural is going to be a new piece designed just for this Blink Cincinnati event.

Took a night photo of the D*Face mural here in Cincinnati Ohio he done for the blink cincinnati event. I’m not sure if he finished since the lift was still out there last night but safe to assume this is the finished piece minus small touch ups by him.

Great looking mural. Still baffled by some of his print choices of late. He has far "better" images that he can release as prints, but I suppose that is subjective.

I subjectively agree.

i was really hoping for "turncoat" or "prisoner of your selfie" to be a print at his most recent show. curious as he's released VERY few female solo images as prints. the vast majority (if not all) are accompanied by a man. coincidence or intentional is anyone's guess. pop tart and dog save the queen being the few exceptions and some his most popular.

Prisoner is a nice image. I tend to prefer the works that deviate from the Lichtenstein aesthetic - think he's played that out for a long while. His work is strong enough on its own; always has been.

What exactly do ya consider "his work"?

For what its worth he said this Cincinnati mural image is being considered for a future print. The image is titled Tainted Love but of course that decision could change so don’t quote me on that. :D

The Lichtenstein riffs are also "his work" and have different commentary, but I prefer the above.
