The Teagan White Thread
So it goes...
The remainder of Teagan's prints from the gallery show are still available here: http://thevacvvm.com/collections/all/pr ... agan-white
Also, there was this new original that wasn't at the opening. But it appears to have sold already.

Thought I'd pickup one of the prints but both are now sold out. They were around for awhile too, I just dragged my ass on pulling the trigger. Black Dragon Press has some of the best prints I've seen, IMO.

Does anyone know the significance of the intestines spilling out of the birds in a number of her Silent Aviary pieces? To me, repeated imagery like that suggests an internal struggle but it could just be intestines.
I'm not someone else.

The significance when I looked at the intestines was that even in death there can be life, the bird is dead and the flower is very much alive. I am stoked about the Jeer 8x8 got one on the way.GoBluePanic wrote:Does anyone know the significance of the intestines spilling out of the birds in a number of her Silent Aviary pieces? edit: when I looked at the intestines I saw them as sort of an extension of the flowers, almost like a root system; I could be way off, but that is what I saw.
It is interesting that Erica's piece had similar imagery. I believe they're studiomates now, so there could have been some alignment for those two in particular.GoBluePanic wrote:Does anyone know the significance of the intestines spilling out of the birds in a number of her Silent Aviary pieces?
