Hey everyone!


I know it seems I have been avoiding this thread since Craig/tapecat posted on a closed facebook page about it. I think he received some misinformation, as he hasn't logged in to expressobeans since dec 2014 and did not have the opportunity to read the pm I had sent him about starting things up if he didn't have time this year. It is never my intent to hurt Craig's feelings nor step on his toes, and I think whomever was able to get a hold of him and inform him of this thread did him a really big disservice concerning what it was about. I appreciate everyone that posted a picture in this thread (well, except for maybe Nis and his eye rolls, thanks dude) and, at the very least everyone that has posted a collection so far will be in a drawing for something nice...maybe, something really nice. I don't know, I cashed in a favor, we'll see how it goes.

The passion and grace of the people in this club never ceases to amaze me, pure midwestern heart. I hope our group sticks together well in to our retirements and we're drinking beers and fishing and posting photos of incredible collections (as of today, I only have 27 years to go to retirement)!

I know there was some drama around this but I honestly haven't been online enough to know the details. I just wanted to say thank you to deads for trying to keep this thing rolling when it looked like it might not happen. I haven't posted a picture yet because I was kind of holding off until at least the middle of the month which more realistically might be the end but I'll definitely get something posted. Regardless of if there's any giveaways at all I hope we always come together this time of year to share in our love of an incredible artist.

I would hope who ever did get in touch with Craig expressed your intentions. Part of what got me started with collecting Horkey was the passion and goodwill of this community. I hope it continues and any confusion gets worked out, preferably over a beer.
