P.S Who the drymount is that Baker dude?
Huh? These inks won't chub rub. Just saying you if you were to roll a print that could chub rub, it'd chub rub if you rolled into the image, but wouldn't if you rolled it the reverse way.
I have to add that the paper for this is so nice and thick, that you really don't have to be as gentle with it as you might with other prints. I wish more printers would use better paper like this.

Doesn't a single layer of tissue make this whole thing moot?

The black paper used to roll this was very soft. Thought it was used so there would be no accidental scratching. Great shipping.

Image in, image out...either way is fine and people have done both for years.

And fwiw, I thought Lava was weaker than most Pixar shorts story-wise. The song was catchy and the animation is good.

How can edmiston use 9 colors for something that looks like 100, but they have to use 20 whatever to look like 5 colors? What is this magic? Does the artist just not know how to use transparencies or something?

Yes. The files are not set up/created with screen printing in mind when they were designed.

Someone could have probably been hired to do simpler separations and tweaks but it may not have been the exact representation of the original image like this one is.

It's because Jason Edmiston used alchemy.

These Cyclops dudes are so drymounting rich from flipping Mondo with their bots that they have tons of dough to blow. They print this fudge for fun using as many colors as possible. Their loss is your gain.

Rolled face down so awkward to fully unroll, will take more when I get home from work.

I count at least 19 colors in the two pictures above. So 23 is definitely believable

Drop some acid, it will help.
