Has a private commission group produced anything great?

General art-related discussion.

Big fan of these. Each variant has something unique that separates them enough to justify three versions. The artwork also perfect for the film.

Not many Karate Kid pieces and I thought this was great. The Karate Kid private commission by Aurelio Lorenzo and the bonsai tree cloud is a nice touch

Does anyone really have a Karate Kid poster hanging in their place of living/work/anywhere? I mean really.

Krabz Shining, Pittides IT and Stan and Vince Blob are the only ones that come to mind at least this year. However they seem to be getting better. Maybe commission groups are finally letting the artists be themselves.

Even if only from a technical standpoint, with 25 inks laid down by Lady Lazarus, this was a long time coming, even Hurricane Harvey had an impact on the process... 8)

The soulful introspection in its composition reminds me of a stained glass church window.

These Lynch commissions from Lotay and Sammelin are pretty great.

On a pure technical level, this pretty much won the year - to say nothing of the actual art itself.
