Brian - great idea for poll and some type of trophy.

All artists did some great stuff this year, but ultimately did my civic duty and voted for Englert, Danger and my personal break out artist of 2014... Delort.

If there's enough interest in getting a trophy/award, count me in to help $upport.

For film posters, Laurent Durieux has created some beautiful images that are unique and varied across a range of titles. He's a thoroughly nice chap too.

Phlegm's output has been both prolific and of great quality, I've really enjoyed seeing his street pieces. I like that Faile have continued to release good looking prints at reasonable prices in decent run sizes which is great for the fans who want to hang their work. He has been fairly quiet, but Banksy's work always raises a smile, particularly his piece in Clacton-on-sea which was probably my favourite street piece of the year (perhaps because of the reaction to it).

Gig focus only...

Top 5... Welker, Emek, Sperry, Hunter, Zoltron

... very difficult to pick one, but I played.

Don't own any of his prints, but Nicolas Delort had a hell of a year.

1/2 of Landland is female, if that matters to you.

I went with Durieux, Welker, and Landland.

He released one of the best cinema posters last year, just not enough production to be considered for artist of the year I think. I can't think of any other prints he did aside from his gallery show and that was met with a lukewarm reaction at best.
