Although I love the idea of those assholes being ridiculed, deads specifically asked participants not to do this. I couldn't be happier with the stuff I received. My Santa drymounting killed it. I remember Deads' requesting better conduct for this year's BBSS when he opened the initial thread ( in the FS, if I recall, to avoid the usual replies/comments/butthurt shitshow) and asking people to PM him if they were 'in'.
So I'm pretty sure this thread flies in the face of what he was trying to achieve, or is at least heading in that direction.
It'd be far more respectful to Deads to let gripes about what was received just lie, legitimate though they may well be. Or, better yet, just lock this thing up before it gets too out of control.
And if - like myself - you weren't a participant this year, then it's really bad form to come in here and try and take relish in other peoples disappointment. So those who are here praying for drama should fall back and have a long think about why they have such a hard-wired thirst for schadenfreude....
Justifiably or not, there will always be someone who feels let down. It's just the luck (or lack thereof) of the draw, when it comes to these good-intentioned SS things. But I'm sure if someone has been an outright cheapskate dick then it'll be handled behind the scenes and their deets can be passed to the next organizer kind/crazy enough to take on the responsibility next year.
