Mostly Durieux and Ansin for me, Mondo-wise. In no particular order.

Design, layout, artist reputation and know long what similar prints look like. All those are still asterisked because you could see them in person and hate them I suppose.

Hard to put them in order, but these 10 were my favourites from Mondo this year. I have a bit of a love affair for Laurent Durieux and Martin Ansin's work, so not too much variety in my picks. Interestingly, not a single one was initially an online release (I left out Horkey FotR, perhaps that'll change when it arrives and I see it), so thanks to the fine folks that have helped me acquire some of them over the year.

On a different day, I'd maybe substitute out a couple for either of these two:

The Ghost in the Shell foil was one of the cooler posters I've seen in a little while. Great use of foil.

All in all a pretty weak year for Mondo in terms of their output vs. Quality prints. IMO.

In terms of the number of prints that appealed to me compared to the volume released, it is perhaps down on previous years...but that's ok with me, they're just releasing for various tastes/interests. In terms of my favourite posters from this year, I think they can stand shoulder to shoulder with my favourites from previous years so quality of the stuff I like has been just as high in 2014 IMO.
