Just thought it would be convenient if we put all the sales and deals in one thread for the upcoming Black Friday/week.
I'll kick if off.

The entire month of December at Daniel Rolnik Gallery http://danielrolnikgallery.com/ will be a Black Friday sale.
Each Friday in December we are presenting a solo show of works by an artist - with everything priced at least 45% below standard price.
All of the work will be original paintings or handmade screen prints by the artists themselves.
At the end of each week, the prices will adjust back to their standard amounts.
Ryan McIntosh opens Dec. 5th - Dec. 11th
http://www.ryanmcintosh.net/
Alden Marin opens Dec. 12th - Dec. 18th
http://www.aldenmarin.com/
The Little Friends of Printmaking opens Dec. 19th - Dec. 25th
http://thelittlefriendsofprintmaking.com/
??? opens Dec. 26th - Dec. 31st
TBA on Dec. 25th

to all the noobs that think, and will think, that aaron bros 60%+15% off custom framing coupon is a steal.
DONT DO IT.
Aaron brothers standard custom framing pricing is 200-300% higher than what a REAL frame shop will charge you. When you use that coupon the final price will come out to what you would pay a legit frame shop with NO coupon. Not to mention the skill level at a chain store like Aaron Bros is hit and miss, you might get someone that knows what they're doing, you might get a new minimum wage - $10/hr employee framing your $xxx-$xxxx artwork and chances are they are more concerned about their shift ending so they can get go get high. Not to mention Aaron Brothers has been sued, and lost, in certain states for promoting sales (with these coupons) that virtually run 365 days a year, and never come to an end. Their goal is to make you the customer think you are getting a deal when in fact you are paying the going rate, or more, for sub par work.
Find a mom and pop shop with good yelp reviews and go there. Or ask/search on EB for a local framer worth visiting.

true. Michaels is always more expensive than my local mom and pop shop even with all the coupons and do-dads.
