The only thing it really has going for it is fairly decent likenesses. And if you want really good likenesses, and things like having an official piece matter to you (and they do for the vast majority of movie poster collectors), buy a stock movie poster for the film. From an artistic perspective, it's well done, of course it is, but it's not really bringing anything drastically new to the table. Design wise, it's showcasing three main characters, which I think is actually on the lazier, or at least, not-overly-creative side of things.
I think it pales in comparison to the Kleinsmith, which forgoes likenesses, opting instead for a healthy dose of creativity.

And I'm not necessarily picking your post in particular as "hyping this" (although I would say that nominating anything for poster of the year could easily be misconstrued as, I don't know, hype), but I would say there are certainly a lot of people hoping that this becomes the new commission piece that can be traded for a small pile of cash/old mondo piece.

Could you please pm me or even better just go ahead and pb for me any prints upcoming that can be traded for small piles of cash/old mondo pieces? Also, why isn't this dude replacing the gun with a banana and putting Clyde on both sides of Clint and making the definitive Every Which Way But Loose poster? Maybe next years movie print of the year?

Really? I don't have any attachment to the movie or own a copy of the print but one view of this print is an orgy of visual decidance.

Really? What I see is, "I WANT LIKENESS RIGHTS!"

An orgy of visual decadence would have more creativity.

I'm with Finn on this. That TGTBTU print is well drawn but as a piece as a whole, kind ofan eye sore

Oh no, no likeness rights! Besides the fact that it has the 3 main characters as the center piece, the whole prints borders, background war silhouettes, western colors and feel, and title, ooze amazing visual delight. The only thing missing from framing the masterpiece would be adding a western horse/cactus glade scented spray dispenser next to the artwork to finish it off.
