Why so expensive in the US?
Coatoan looks ready to ship. Letterpress needs a few weeks. Letterpress probably shipped flat.

Well this was actually difficult to pick just one but I went with the croatoan. To me if makes me feel like the war between the two species has finally come to an end. We have to of the most detailed/oldest looking osprey and bird so they have been "generals" that stepped up to finish what all the others had started. The helmet in the snow says to me that its finally done and he has shed the thing that protects him the most as almost a new beginning. The not formed head says weve been so blinded by the helmet in our struggles that we really couldnt see the whole picture, the beautiful world that is really around them. This bird took the risk to end it and now that hes shed what blinded him he has been enlightened with the knowledge, hence the burst around his mind, to see the beauty and serenity in the world they live in. I believe this field will be the final resting place for all the birds once they also come to said realization and retreat from the things that bind/blind them and will be lead there by the string. Maybe this is why we havent seen the actual print form of it yet either, Aaron is wanting for the war to be over.

Wonder if we will get an envelope or Coa on this letterpress. Probably not since it's timed but wishful thinking

yep i'd guess it'd be studioonfire, the holt lobskull they did is quite well embossed, but i didn't find Leviathan to be as heavily pressed...the retrospective sets that Bieler did are just another level IMO

I would bet it will be Studio On Fire in Minneapolis. They did the recent Holt letterpress prints.
