I think it has an effect, when the main design element is the band name treatment. It's great work by him but it emphasizes the gig in gigposter, if that makes sense.

Without mfaith around to hype them...

I think the flippers have finally wised up combined with a band most people haven't heard of and some people being turned off by spiders this one was never going to have Mass appeal. Too bad because I think this is his best color scheme on a print in ages.

Not feeling some of the more recent name design choices. The Converge/Neurosis one hurt my head.

$100 for a gp for a band most people haven't heard of is bonkers. Let's not forget dat.

I love this Daughters poster, especially the green/blue colourway.

And very excited to see what the Thou + Emma Ruth Rundle poster is about.

I was about to pull the trigger on this and remembered the dimensions were 18.5x39", meaning it wouldn't even fit in my 24x36" mylar sleeves - could be another reason why it took so long to sell out as most gig posters a smaller than this. Despite this I am still a bit gutted I didn't get it cos it's really nice work, even though the typography is borderline legible it still works well as an illustration and complements the rest of the print.

I hope if there is an art print version it is a smaller size.

Happy the store will be open tomorrow - I've been in the market for a new hoodie for about a month now, been waiting for it to come back
We have a nice new one that will be added to the site soon, probably next week.
did a new hoodie ever go up?

I used to wonder if the majority of Horkey's fan base were here in Ebeans. Now I feel pretty certain this site comprises about 95% of his base. Seeing Colossus Aground prints not even fetching original cost is disappointing. Not because of resale but because it's a great print.

I think I agree with you, I mean this is where THC has gone down for many years. I would guess that a decent percentage of the Royal Order pays attention to ebeans.... I wish somehow I could be part of the RO but for me the THC here is as close as I can get. I think ebeans just provides easier access and observation of/to Horkey's work. but doesn't it do that for so many artists and their fans? is facebook THE spot for Spusta-heads? I wouldn't know because I hate FB but I imagine one could find a large fan group for any of the artists popular on Ebeans on FB as well. Many artists certainly pay attention to this webpage. Sperry posts about it on his blog every time one of his posters wins an award from here.

the Colossus Aground print is an oddity I think. yeah, personally, im trying to sell mine, at cost too, but that's simply a choice over many many other Horkey pieces I own and know ill one day frame or want to keep for my collection. I think its a really nice image, I don't know why it isn't fetching higher prices, I just know that im choosing other Horkey images above it to hang on my wall. I certainly don't buy Horkey's to flip...or else id have a hell of a lot more of them in my WT list. But I think part of why ebeans is so great is because I can pop in here and ask a question aimed at MITCH but also get answers from other fans in the know:

so, did a new VACVVM hoodie ever get put up?
