I think it was on an AiD podcast where Mitch said the basic idea is that Vacvvm is there as a platform to release something for the artists when they want to.

Don't think there is any other agenda to it.

Yeah, I don't think there was ever any indication that each artist would be churning stuff out on a regular schedule. Just like Paul said, they have this avenue available for them when they have something of their own that they want to release on their own.

4$ shipping for a pin that most other places figure out how to ship free. Meh. Wife wanted that bat. +1

Well I guess I could have saved that drop stress for another time, but at least the happy result is the same.

It seems rather normal.... the only place that immediately comes to mind that offers free shipping for pins is pinpinz. Any other I can think of there is a $3 charge or so.

First Vacvvm print for me and I liked her shirt, so that too. Not crazy about the shipping prices though.

$3-$4 for pin shipping is pretty standard.

yeah $15 to ship a single pin to the UK is a bit steep tbh, i've bought way too many pins over the past few months, and thats the highest - singles have been anything from $4 to $10 at the most, even doubles or triples from yesterdays/pindejo/BoNA etc the most i've paid is $13.50...but meh, i know usps prices have gone up, so it's no biggie

Unfortunately, the cheapest USPS international shipping starts at $13. I haven't been able to find a way around it.

I get that they do commissioned gig prints and what not...I really do hope that everyone on their roster gets whatever they want. They're a VERY solid group of artists. I just lately feel like whenever I see an update from VACVVM it's not some new print from an artist on the team (obviously Teagan's on the team so my timing on this is way off). I just wish I saw more from these people that felt original and that the collective was used more to self-promote from within instead of promoting other artists who frankly were doing fine on their own. Again, I've been drinking, but other than tomorrow's drop what have we seen from the VACVVM this year from their artists that wasn't an AP or something released last year? I'm not saying I don't love what they've put out...because I do and yeah, that's what matters most here. Im just wondering if I'm disillusioned with the original concept or if they've gone another route. More of a poll/discussion than an argument, if you will.
I totally understand where you're coming from. Part of the nature of this is that these artists all work very meticulously (slowly). That said, most members have things in the works or coming soon. We had a good bunch of guest releases to get out, but the vision hasn't changed.
Cheers
