Pretty sure Mitch said the entire run was for sale, nothing to come from P&T

Someday a Croatoan will pop up on P&T, someday.

If a print's aftermarket value jumps to $1k+ within a couple days of release, then it's probably a good indicator that the run size was too small. Unless, of course, that was the goal of the edition size.
Actually it doesn't say anything about the edition size...it just indicates that it was underpriced. Massively in this case.

Who also hopes the rotating background images are a hint of what's to come?? I love the first, the bird, and the last is intriguing as well.

If the edition size was larger, then there would likely be fewer buyers in the aftermarket since those buyers would have been able to get it during the initial offering. Fewer buyers in the aftermarket means less demand and lower prices.

Increasing the original price may have made it easier for some people to buy directly from the source, but it probably wouldn't have made it any more affordable than buying it from the current aftermarket (only if it deterred some flippers, but in all likelihood a higher starting price may have only increased the hype/speculation of a higher aftermarket value as well).

There is no mystery to how the aftermarket works. We're all experts by now whether you're on the seller or buyer side. Supply and Demand, plain and simple.

Yep, simply suggesting the supply was too small and hopefully that is remedied with future releases. That's all.

Print releases that quadruple in aftermarket value within 3 days of release will do that to any art production company/group discussion.
