As an aside, I think the combination of limited and semi-limited editions is a perfect compromise. While not everyone could get Croatoan, the ability to score a signed limited letterpress of a classic image is going to make a lot of people happy. Very cool of Horkey and Mitch to throw the not exactly ready to grab something at the drop of a dime on a tweet's notice crowd a bone here. I think this will be a very successful business venture, artistically and financially for everyone involved.

400 letterpresseseseses
I can say having laid my eyes on the "Black Lake" ink personally, it is ridiculously impressive. Anyone who has bought or still plans to buy one will not be disappointed at all.
As far as numbers, id love to be wrong but im thinking 500ish. I know obviously his popularity has risen, but the WBG foreground "Sentinel" letterpress had an edition of only 188 and was $75 if bought solo, and thats such an iconic image for Aaron. That 12.75x20 letterpress though is going to be so badass on Black Lake!
