Now maybe Austinites know better, but judging by the shows I been to in my neck of the woods. You might want to have an honest discussion about the transport of your prints. Because nothing makes me cringe more than when a PB who's not in the hobby and thinks a tube is a "Pro kit". No homie, it's not. It's just an easy way to get my paper home in good shape. If you want your paper to be relatively bend free, don't be afraid to ask if they are taking a tube, and forward Tong's YouTube on how to roll a print. These are things that will hopefully give your PB the knowledge they need to be a great one. Best of luck to the both of you.EgoDeath wrote:Both. Haven't had a chance to read through the AMA yet. Looking forward to skimming through the craziness.dweebofthedead wrote:MondoCon 4 dates announced!
We just locked dates and a new venue. It is November 4-5. We will be making a formal announcement in the next 3-4 weeks and putting tickets on sale with it. The new venue is really cool. I think you guys are going to love the location. - J.B.
Regardless of how great the new venue is, I'm a little bummed to hear that MC will be in a different location. I'm sure there are reasons, but I always loved the old spot and the convenience of having the rooms upstairs, that killer Tex Mex place in walking distance, etc. Plus I just like that area and the AFS Theater, and the buildings and stuff. The 'Sophies' Choice' of where to line up made things interesting too. I wonder how the new venue will affect things.

Here are all of Mondo's responses (and only their responses). You can see the question they were responding to by clicking on the 'context' link below each response: https://www.reddit.com/user/MondoATX
They said this about Stout having done a cancelled JP poster:
And Mitch gave this clue about their next biggest print release or license that they are excited about:
which I at first thought was a reference to Rogue One and Donnie Yen, but I realize now is directly related to this (although I suppose it could still be related to more Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc):

Do you have any Tyler Stout posters that have not yet been released? Subquestion, are rumors that he did a Jurassic Park that has not been released due to likeness rights true?

I can say that rumor was 100% false. He never worked on a JP print for us. -Justin Brookhart

Yen. Sid. - Mitch Putnam

Is there any Disney collaborations coming anytime soon? That's how I came across Mondo 3 years ago at SXSW.
