OR it could be that by getting salty over something you passed on after its value quintuples, you've implied that had you another chance you would've bit the bullet on purchase, signaling that you indeed had the funds for it in the first place, but the secondary market value mattered over actually wanting it for the sake of the art. Not that it matters, really, because we've all passed on stuff that ended up being worth way more than anticipated, regardless of whether we wanted it for the art or the value...and wanting to land something at cost as opposed to a marked up value in the future is a buyer's ideal that's preached in this hobby. You're not the only one, you're not a bad person at all for doing it (maybe a bad person for other reasons, I dunno, I'm not your mom), but it still opens one up for the impersonal, itchy gif-ing fingers of the peanut gallery.Muppelope wrote:Glad you guys are having fun.
