I saw it in the theater when I was 19. I thought it was sappy and a bit boring. Since then I've watched it a few times with my kids and it feels like a different movie altogether. Just one of those films that resonates with kids and adults, but has no meaning to a teenager. Anyway it's one of our go-to rainy day flicks now. 8 thumbs up.

I love it, appreciate it far more as an adult than I ever did when I was younger

Second I think the specialness of it(and this is coming from someone who think it's a fine movie not amazing) comes from the fact that it was a traditionally animated movie in a cg world where those movies barely exist anymore and also sporting a retro aesthetic reminiscent of classic animation. I think that's where the fandom comes from.

Pretty much, it also helps to be a Superman fan (Since this is essentially a Supes tale)

I think Mondo has gone a bit nuts with it but doesn't change the quality of it.
you don't have to be a gun. You are what you choose to be.

No poster, just a shirt, it seems... still would be cool to see them back to back! Might be a good excuse to finally check out the Loudoun theater in Ashburn, although I know the wife wouldn't be excited about seeing either of these

That's the way she likes to...torso, I guess? I dunno. Guess that's where they gave leeway for shirt size...
