Can anybody clarify what happens when a member on here gets banned? I sold a print to somebody and need their address to ship to them, but they are now banned and apparently not able to respond to PMs? Any help would be great.

You can PM so that we don't clog up the Mondo thread unnecessarily.

Why not send an email to the paypal address?

Mainly because he used a different name in our EB conversations than what appears on his PayPal account. Red Flag #1. Then he's banned from EB, Red Flag #2. My question is if he payed me the money, can he really scam me at this point? Currently this is all conjecture as nothing else fishy has happened financially, but it's made me wonder a bit.

I have had a few transactions where the Paypal name doesn't match up at all to the name of the person I am dealing with - by this I mean a completely different name. Makes me slightly uncomfortable, but as long as the buyer doesn't ask me to send to an address other than the Paypal address, I'm cool. Still, makes me wonder why they don't use their own Paypal account.

I use my girls PayPal all the time. Don't really see the need in making a new PayPal acct just to buy posters although I usually give a heads up to the sellers about it before sending payment.

If you're making purchases through a paypal account that doesn't have your name on it, I automatically assume you're not a responsible adult. No offense.

As long as people are getting the money and shipping to the address in paypal, what's the difference? I don't care what name is on the paypal account as long as there is a verified delivery address, especially if the person purchasing is an active member.

Or just adult enough to have a PayPal acct linked to a bank acct that's just used for PayPal and keeping real "adult" money in an adult bank acct. Maybe Modo adult is different?
