$70 for the Looper LP? I want some of what theyre smoking. The packaging does look nice, minus the canvas bag, thats pretty cheesy imo. It was hard to justify $40-50 for a 2xLP. But $70? wtf!!!

I think Looper is a great score when mixed to the movie... But its not something I enjoy listening to on its own. And its not something I want to spend $60+shipping on... But god damn that packaging is amazing.

"Gkohler"-it only takes 1 idiot to throw that much cash at something for it to instantly be "worth" that much.
"Celsius"- Welcome to Expressobeans, bitch.

Didn't someone say a while back that there was a break in the sequence numbers for the Batman 7"s? Looks like they've been saving this for the Batman show- really doubt they'd spend that much on a custom die-cut and not use it.

Going to cross post since I'm super stoked on what my test pressing was. It's one of my favorite soundtracks ever.

Here's what I got:

It's weird to me that people listen to soundtracks for non-musical films.

The soundtrack to The Mission has some of the best music you will ever hear.

Dude, if they do the Clint Mansell Requiem for a Dream score, game over. I'm sorry, there's no topping that.

Edit: I'm not big into soundtracks myself. But there are a handful of them, like Requiem, that I feel are strong enough to stand on their own. Magnolia is another good example; Good the Bad and the Ugly, American Beauty, Kill Bill, The Matrix...

wow just saw the price on that Looper vinyl. I guess Mondo has decided that they would cut the flipper out and just charge the butt-raping re-sale cost from the get go.

Edit: writing this from the future. Still a rip-off.
