Well... if you can't afford the LD, maybe George will have his Jaws printed up as a companion for LD's Jaws 2...

Hey guys, I’m attending mondocon for this first time this year. Do I need to carry cash to pay for prints at booths? Do they have tubes at the convention or do I need to bring one from Home?

Cash is preferred by most artists. It's just the quickest and helps to keep lines moving. In the past, Internet access has been spotty and complications come into play with card readers and conversion rates. There will be ATMs around.

Tubes are not offered at the convention or sold at any of the booths. For those attending screenings at South Lamar, your prints will be tubed and handed to you as you leave the theater. However, other prints from Mondo's store/other artists booths do not come tubed.

Speaking of poster tubes, is there a tube that someone would recommend for an airplane that won't get destroyed?

Guess also as a question, I'm assuming they pretty much all bag the prints and not have kraft paper to roll into

What's a safe assumption.

I made a carry tube from 4in. PVC that I travel with. If you don't have time for that, just any thick kraft Yazoo Mills tube should do ok. Maybe get a yoga carry strap to make it easier to get around with.
So it goes...
