I think he was commenting on Mondo being "dead" due to they're releases of multiple Katmari Damacy posters and the like. I figured it was central theme to this thread and much of EB in general.

Mondo laid off a lot of people recently too. I have no idea what’s going on but I wish those folks luck.

damn.. hadn't heard this but that's really unfortunate. The Alamo Drafthouse, in general, is going through a lot with the bankruptcy situation.

those layoffs happened a while ago. like last year.

the "RIP mondo" comment was a joke. It was the only thing making Alamo revenue for many months since the pandemic hit.

I'm not a big Star Wars fan but I'm still excited to see Gabz SW portrait show. Either way Mondo needs to get something interesting going. And really they should obtain properties they have never done before. Get some new artists too. Paul Mann, Steve Chorney, Juan Carlos Burgos would be fresh and new.

Yeah but not very much product from here as far as prints go. Sandlot and Godzilla are the only ones that come to mind.

Oh I actually had no clue. He should get a Derieux kind of show, along with Chorney. I love their classic movie print style of work. If Mondo doesn't Bottle Neck should get something big going.

Picked up one for Breathless. Classy poster by a great artist. Seems like Mondo’s best movie poster releases these days aren’t even theirs.
