How long until mondo adds Ford Contemporary inventory to their site? Maybe the poster posse is next. Looks like they've already consumed Spencer's gifts and Newbury Comics.

I also think that because of the size of the auction, there might be some bargains to be had as well.
The top tier stuff is going to do very well. The other stuff, who knows?
The auction is a good opportunity to fill some gaps in the collection from a trusted source.
not holding my breath, started with 150 in the watch list which swiftly got refined to 80 due to the high prices after only a day

I love how the “doesn’t end until 5 mins after last bid” feature is spun as a good thing for bidders.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Hey... they aren't wrong about getting sniped last second which is super annoying. At the end of the day it goes to a good cause and I guess some folks can write it off - leading to inflated prices which is a good thing in this case.

Mo' money for the cause!

Ain't no shame. That being said sadly my low ball bids all have already been beat in this one.

lowballers would be if it was a set price and someone asked for less.

getting a low price because you are the only person bidding is how auctions are designed to work.

My main concern with the format is the timing. With all auctions set to end roughly around the same time but with the caveat of the 5 minute rule, I feel like it’s tough to go after multiple prints by priority. Cant really count on waiting to see how things shake out with one print before deciding to go after another one on my list without running the risk of winning both. Or three or four etc. Poor mans problems I guess.
Have ya paid your dues, Jack? Yessir, the check is in the mail.

Just throw down your best price and forget it. Sucks if you lose out by a penny or a dollar but if a big time (even for poors) auction allows late bidding in such small increments...well, that’s also bullshit regardless of the cause.

Pretty sure the site only allows whole dollar bids.
